On June 14-15, 2023 at the town hall meeting of Boualapha District, Khammouane Province. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Bounchan Xaypanya Head of the Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Office. The meeting was attended by, the Hin Nam No National Park Management, the Management Board of the Protected and Protection Forest, the Forestry Section of PAFO, representatives of the Department of Forestry, representatives of the Heritage Department, District line offices in Boualapha, district women’s advisory council, technical staff from the Hin Nam No National Park Office, representatives of 20 villages around Hin Nam No National Park, projects (ProFEB and LLL) and private sector (Green Climber, RDA) totaling 83 men, 17 women. The meeting discussed the following topics:
1) Report on the progress of the World Heritage work
2) Summarize the results of the implementation of the work for the first 6 months of the year and the plan for the 6 months at the end of 2023;
3) the trend of various important indicators in conservation, and related threats in order to advance to the establishment of joint solutions;
4) Stakeholders and various development projects in Hin Nam No area to present the progress of the implementation of their own related work;
5) Village representatives present various problems that arise, including problems related to the implementation of the FPIC operation plan at the village level;
6) Evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of the management of Hin Nam No National Park (METT);
